Hello from Catherine and Melissa. Thanks for visiting our lovely gift site. We are based in a little shop called ‘Heath and Harebell’ on Haworth Main Street in Yorkshire. Haworth was the home of the Bronte Sisters and literary pilgrims come to Haworth from all over the world to walk on the cobbled streets and the wild moor from which the famous sisters drew their inspiration. When we arrived in 2014 there was very little for people to take away as a souvenir of an amazing experience so we set about renting our little shop and stocking our own beautiful mugs, jams, chutneys and chocolate bars, each with a thoughtful Bronte connection. Our visitors love them.
To us, Haworth is the most special place in England. It’s where Emily Bronte walked to her beloved moor and began to imagine Catherine and Heathcliff. It’s where Charlotte dreamt of the sad childhood and happy ending for Jane Eyre. The village is buzzing with innovative crafts, gifts and jewellery and it also does a mean cream tea and great craft beer. We love Haworth and are passionate about the Bronte sisters and literature and the arts in general. We are so pleased to be able to offer gifts from Haworth to special customers all over the UK and hopefully beyond. Each gift is sent with a little bit of cold, moor air and a sprinkling of Haworth magic.
